A New Year...and too many projects..
I read in Mason Dixon Knitting that if you have knitting bags hanging from door knobs all over the house you are a knitter. I guess I qualify. When I first began this journey I had a darling L L Bean bag which I filled with my knitting project of the moment. Of course those were also the days when I finished one project before heading off to another. I was quickly dispelled of any notion that this nonsense must continue by my sister. So soon I also had a lovely silk bag which held (and still holds) project # 2....socks. Then there was the Old Pueblo Knitter's guild bag my sister sent which is filled with all manner of partially knitted mice and there's the lovely L L Bean bag in timely autumn colors which holds the throw/lap robe/shawl I'm knitting...and the Black Dog canvas tote which I carry my small projects in when I go to work. And there is my current, current project, an attempt at knitting lace which sits in the chair in the living room, the sweater which is on my bedside table and boxes filled with yarn for projects to come....I guess I qualify. I am a knitter.
