Knit Wit RN

We are hours from Christmas and like knitters world wide I am furiously finishing my last project. Only two weeks ago I had passed along the new mittens, hats and sweaters to my darling grandchildren and thought myself finally done with knitting for others. I started to dream of finally having time to make something for myself. I spent hours reading yarn and knitting web sites, daydreaming about luscious sweaters and home goods. And then, then I remembered my one last skein of Manos yarn. A beautiful raspberry melange it would make a lovely pair of mittens for my daughter....and so I am now finishing the last of mitten #2 . In the meanwhile I ventured out to Morehouse Farm and fell in love again with their yarns and patterns. As soon as the holiday dust settles their YingYang mittens will be mine. I'll start there and then I'll make the pillows featured in their pattern book for my couch and then, perhaps a wonderful knitted rug for the new bathroom and then......see what I mean?
